Take a Hawaiian Kona Coffee Farm Tour on a Hawaii Vacation

by dan on June 4, 2009

If you love Coffee, why not visit a Hawaiian Kona Coffee farm on your next Hawaii vacation? You’ll get to see how it’s grown, harvested, and processed as well as witness the different Kona Coffee grades first hand and, of course, sample a hot cup of fresh brew. There are more then 700 estate and commercial plantations in North and South Kona, and many of them offer tours to the public.

In order to get a genuine experience from your travels, stay in a Hawaii vacation rental in Kona on the Big Island. This is the only place true Kona coffee is grown. Here’s a good selection of Kona vacation rentals.

There are literally hundreds of tours. Here’s a short list to get you started. You can also search for Kona coffee farms in Google. Call ahead of time and see what each plantation offers to  ensure the tour sounds like one you might be interested in.

We’re doing farm tours (upon request) as well. Would be great if we could be included in your list here.

Compliments to a very well structured and written website!
