Kona King Coffee Cultivates Arabica Coffee Plants On Century Old Kona Coffee Farm

by dan on May 11, 2010

Kona King Coffee cultivates Kona coffee on two coffee farms located in the Captain Cook and Honaunau regions of Kona Coffee Country on the Big Island of Hawaii.

The coffee farm in Captain Cook is situated at about 1,900 feet above sea level. The farm produces particularly large coffee beans distinguished for their sweet flavor with chocolaty undertones. This farmland has been farmed in Kona coffee for more than a century and many signs of this historic past still remain on the farm.

Kona King’s other farm is located at about 1,700 feet above sea level in Honaunau which is about six miles south of Captain Cook. The coffee beans on this estate are notable for their low acidity and smooth taste.
