The store was also a gathering place where local farmers and ranchers shared news of the day.
A visit to the Greenwell Store and the nearby Living History farm takes you back in time to the era of Kona’s coffee pioneers. The store is open from Monday to Thursday from 10 to 2. No reservations are required.
The Greenwell Store is Kona’s oldest store and the building is one of the district’s oldest buildings. The historic structure was recently restored.
