A non-profit organization, the Kona Coffee Farmers Association includes Hawaii coffee growers. The Association’s website includes a great deal of information about events related to Kona coffee including coffee-related legislation (e.g., the issues regarding “Kona coffee blends”).
Taking pride in being the “voice of the Kona coffee farmer,” the Kona Coffee Farmers Association also seeks protect Kona coffee’s unique heritage while also bringing Kona coffee farmer’s issues to the Hawaii State Legislature.

The mission of the Kona Coffee Farmers Association is to protect as well as promote the economic interests of Kona coffee farmers including protecting the Kona Coffee name. The group maintains a list of Kona coffee farmers that participate in their direct-buy program.
